By that time he was acquainted with radical political theories and embraced anarchism. The anarchist group he belonged to was attacked by the Communists and Orwell was seriously wounded.
In fear of his life, he was forced to flee from Spain.
This episode gave him a life long dread of communism and totalitarianism. He died of tuberculosis in a London Hospital in January, They both deal with politics and aim at demonstrating the uselessness of any revolution.
